Blackhurst Budd Solicitors Cycle Challenge

Two Solicitors from the Dispute Resolution Department at Blackhurst Budd LLP, namely David Edwards and Hannah Newell, recently took to two wheels and hit the rural ‘B’ roads of France, starting out at Fontainebleu and finishing at Lake Annecy in the foothills of the French Alps after three days of sweat and glory. The route took in some stunning scenery, and in particular, when passing through the vineyards of Burgundy.

Nominated hill climber, David Edwards, explained; “This challenge offered a unique chance for Hannah and I to experience the length of France on two wheels, competing against 45 other teams, in an event organised through the Rotary Club of Milton Keynes. Both being keen cyclists, it was a great opportunity to challenge ourselves in the spiritual home of cycling, following months of training. Additionally, it was very rewarding to be able to raise over £1500.00 for charity, and along with our remaining two team members, and we are grateful for the generous support of Blackhurst Budd, who donated £250.00 of the final sum raised. We hope to take part in next year’s event and beat this year’s total!"
