Blackpool-born Solicitor Briony Haley has joined the Edward Street firm bringing with her almost a decade of legal experience in the field.

Briony, 31, specialises in Commercial Property law and joins Blackhurst Budd from Preston-based firm Linder Myers.

“I’m delighted I’ve been able to make the move and join such a dedicated team at Blackhurst Budd,” said Briony.

“This is a really exciting time to be working in Commercial Property law.

“Confidence has really returned to the Commercial Property market across the Fylde coast with a number of exciting developments and acquisitions in the last few months.”

A former pupil at Montgomery High School, Briony qualified as a solicitor eight years ago after studying at Lancaster University and Chester College of Law.

Briony’s new role will see her work in all aspects of Commercial Property law such as commercial leases for landlord or tenants; commercial conveyancing; commercial lease assignments and development acquisitions

Briony added: “Business is increasing all the time in the Commercial Property market and so I am really excited by the challenges and successes that lie ahead right here on the Fylde coast.

“I am a Blackpool girl so the town, and the coast as a whole, is somewhere I am really passionate about.

“There is so much scope for success and to see the level of confidence return is fantastic.”

Briony joins Richard Sloman and Craig Aikman to make a team of three very experienced solicitors.
