Blackhurst Budd LLP achieves Investors In People for commitment to staff

The firm’s commitment to staff development and its outstanding customer service is recognised by the achievement, which is awarded by the UK Commission for Employment and Skills.

The Commission aims to improve skills, employment and productivity across the UK.

Investors in People sets the nationwide standard in people management and business improvement.

The largest legal practice on the Fylde Coast, Blackhurst Budd can now use Investors in People as a framework for improving business productivity, performance and competitiveness through good practice.

To achieve Investors in People, an organisation must prove its success in adopting and maintaining three fundamental principles: developing strategies to improve the performance of the organisation, acting on them, and re-evaluating as and when necessary.

Investors in People is the latest of a series of major professional commendations for the firm. In 2010 Blackhurst Budd was awarded the prestigious Lexcel accreditation by The Law Society, just 15 months after starting up in business as the result of a four firm merger. Lexcel is only awarded to companies who meet the highest management and client care standards.

The firm has also achieved the Conveyancing Quality Scheme accreditation, a quality standard for residential conveyancing practices, again recognised by the Law Society.

Blackhurst Budd boasts 55 members of staff and 13 partners and is one of the Fylde’s leading law firms.
