The Conveyancing Department is led by John Taylor (Partner). The other members of the team are Charles Purvis (Partner), Faye Harper (Assistant Solicitor) and Kerry Spencer (Conveyancing Executive).

The team enjoys excellent support from Lyn Kendall, Brenda Barry, Jackie Kearsley and Dawn Shorrock.

The Department is based at our 32 Edward Street office.

The Conveyancing team has over 70 years' experience between them and takes pride in providing a fast, friendly and efficient service at a competitive price.

Specialisms: Commercial and residential property, Wills and Probate.

Charles started his law career with Blackhurst Parker and Yates in 1973. After qualifying in 1977, he moved to the firm which became Coope Purvis & Taylor.

He is married to Jane and has two sons.

Charles' interests include hill walking, cycling, history and reading. Holidays are often spent on challenging long distance walks and alpine treks.

John is a specialist in Residential Conveyancing.

John was formerly a partner in Coope Purvis and Taylor Solicitors for 22 years. He was born in Blackpool and attended Arnold School.

Faye is a Solicitor in the Conveyancing Department.

Faye went to Arnold School in Blackpool before studying Law at the University of Central Lancashire. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2004 and since qualifying has specialised in Residential Conveyancing, also carrying out some Commercial transactions.

Faye is a Mother of two young boys and when she has time to herself Faye likes to keep fit by jogging.

Kerry is a specialist in Residential Conveyancing.

Kerry's career in Conveyancing stems from working for a property auction company and she has been a Conveyancer since 2002. Kerry is married with one son.

Away from work Kerry enjoys reading anything factual/historical, gardening, cooking and socialising with friends & family.
